I am indeed only 16 and my friends make the same joke about me being a 40 year old beneath the surface!

Hi Ann, thanks for persistently seeking me out. :-) I don't put up much poetry here, but my blog contains several pieces, as you've found out.
Thanks, big-time, for making a connection with me.

I didn't know that you were a Buddhist. Of course I don't know you but we have mutual friends so thought that I would send you an invitation. I consider myself a Catholic/Buddhist. Actually I have been studying Buddhism for several years now and even visited Nepal last year and several temples while I was there. I also own a group here on Gather for Buddhists and there are quite a few which I found very surprising. I hope to get to know you better.

Thanks for seeing my current reading entry. I've not done "Salesman" yet. Earlier this week I finished both the One and Two Act versions of "A view from the Bridge," today I've read "A Memory of Two Mondays" and have just begun "The Misfits." Miller correographs drama until it results in the poetry of the human condition tested by social constraints.

I realize the painting I know titled "Home of the Heron" is by George Innes rather than Bierstadt. I saw it in a show at the National Academy of Design, (I think). Anyway it is a beautiful painting! I googled to find the Bierstadt image but came up empty. I know someone who I can ask about the Bierstadt. Do you have other info about the painting, like who owns it?
